The Williamsburg Chapter Daughters of the American Revolution and the Sons of the American Revolution Chapter gathered together on Constitution Day September 17^th at the First Baptist Church in Williamsburg to continue with a celebrated  tradition of announcing our Independence by ringing their bell that had remained silent for over 50 years due to damage.  It has been recently restored by Colonial Williamsburg preservationists and  hopefully will provide many more years of celebration.
