Ron joined the SAR in the George Washington Chapter in western Pennsylvania in 2006 where he served as President (2 terms), Treasurer and Registrar and a District Deputy in the Pennsylvania Society (PASSAR).  He and his wife of 51 years both grew up in western PA, and after 47 years, Ron retired from American Airlines. In 2023 they moved to Williamsburg because of their love of 18^th century history.  Ron and his wife, Jane have a son and he, his wife and son live in Eagle River, AK. Ron is a volunteer docent at the American Revolution Museum at Yorktown since 2025 and serves on the British artillery crew at the Colonial National Historic Park in Yorktown as well as being the Williamsburg Chapter Color Guard Commander.
